Serving The Community

At Ballast Advisors we understand the importance of investing into our community; not only financially, but with our time as well. Our goal is to pass along the success that we’ve been able to achieve in our own lives with others within our community. Listed below are a few of the organizations that share in our community mindset; we are pleased to partner our efforts with the following organizations:

We Furnish Homes with Hope

Bridging was founded on one simple, yet powerful idea—that together we can create a bridge between those in need and those with excess. Since 1987, and nearly 50,000 square feet later, Bridging is the largest furniture bank in North America.

OUR MISSION

Through the effective reuse of donated items, BRIDGING improves lives by providing quality furniture and household goods to those transitioning out of homelessness and poverty.

Bridging, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the greater Twin Cities, is the largest furniture bank in the United States. Driven by volunteers and donations of furniture and household goods from the community, Bridging has furnished over 75,000 homes since 1987

The Boys and Girls Club

Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow – all while having fun. It is the place where great futures are started each and every day.

Helping youth become responsible, caring citizens and acquire skills for participating in the democratic process is the main thrust of these programs. They also develop leadership skills and provide opportunities for planning, decision-making, contributing to Club and community and celebrating our national heritage.

Our Mission

To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

Big Brother Big Sisters

Millions of children need a caring adult role model.

When children and teens have the influence of a caring adult, they are more likely to avoid risky behaviors and to focus on academics. Today’s youth face a variety of challenges, and being matched with a Big Brother or Big Sister can help them navigate these challenges and reach their potential.

Our Impact

Big Brothers Big Sisters believes that it must hold itself accountable to the families, children, and mentors enrolled in our program. We must hold ourselves accountable to the donors, partners, and advocates who fund our work. That is why a commitment to continuous learning, improvement, and research is at the heart of what we do.

Prepare and Prosper

We believe that access to quality services shouldn’t depend on ability to pay.

With a focus on financial capability and economic justice, we have a local and national presence in running and promoting programs, strategies, and policies that foster financial health and wealth for low-income families.

About Us

After 45 years of service, our scope of work has broadened. We assist Minnesotans to move out of poverty by providing pathways to increase income, build assets and become financially secure, and by advocating for change that breaks down barriers to financial success.
